For day 17, Vahida and I took another drive out into farm country. My plan was to get a shot of some of the abandoned farm houses out in this area, but once we got there we noticed that they were either fenced off, or they all had “No Trespassing” signs up. I thought I better play it safe, as I did not have permission to be on any of those properties.
As we were driving around, we came into the very cute town of Claremont, where these silos could be seen from the road – giving me the opportunity to get the shot without going onto anyone’s property. I got out of the car and took a few minutes to grab some shots from different angles and then once we were home, I cropped it to look more panoramic.
I used my Canon 7D Mark 1 with a Canon 24-70 F4 L lens at 30mm, shooting at 1/400, F9, with an ISO setting of 400. It was an overcast day when the shot was taken.
