Another morning of looking out of the window and sprinting outside to grab what I could.
The nice thing about a foggy morning in Nanaimo vs. a foggy morning in Toronto is that it isn’t followed up by a health alert for the city. I took a few different pictures of varying things, and this one ended up as my favourite. It might not translate well to another viewer though, because what I like most about the picture is what you can’t see in it. This was taken in the car port beside my parent’s house.
This is a garage photo on a residential street in a harbour city, but I feel like there is very little to immediately give that away, which I like.
I used my 24-70mm f4 lens to get this. I was zoomed at 52mm and shooting at 1/100 of a second with an aperture of f8, and ISO 800. A nice golden sunrise the only light source.
