It’s Vahida’s Birthday! I knew I wanted to do some sort of shot for her big day, but I wasn’t to sure what until I was looking around the apartment this morning. I saw this bucket of stones that we have leftover from the wedding and I got the idea of doing a shot that I can use as her birthday card. After it was done and printed it seemed only fitting that I use this for today’s shot.
Join me in wishing her a Happy Birthday!
I used my Canon 7D Mark 1 with a Canon 24-70 F4 L lens at 24mm, shooting at 1/125, F22, with an ISO setting of 100. It was probably I nice day today, but this was totally shot indoors with a flash.
PS. I bought her flowers so be prepared for days of macro flower shots.
PPS. I need to clean that glass more. I whipped it down with glass cleaner and everything. I debated bringing this into Photoshop and doing some touch up work and getting some areas that are not 100% black to be blacker, but thought I would go spend more time with my lady.
