Thirsty Guests

Thirsty Guests

My parents are in town! It isn’t every day that I get to see Mom and Dad Harris, but this weekend they are in town for some appointments on Monday and Tuesday. It is always great to get to see them since it only happens a few times a year, but unfortunately, our place isn’t big enough for them to comfortably stay here. Because of this, they are staying at my Uncle Neil’s.

This morning, Vahida and I woke up and started with a little house cleaning to get it out of the way before my parents got here. They took the train in, so I went to Union station to pick them up and subway them back up here. Since they were going to be at my place, we needed a way to get them from me to Uncle Neil. I thought why not have have a little dinner party and also invite Aunt Pam and Uncle Greg. As luck would have it, everyone was available to come over tonight, which was really nice because Aunt Pam was finally able to meet Vahida.

With all the festivities, today was a very busy day and I didn’t have a chance to get out and snap off a celebratory “One Month Down!” photo. Instead I am posting a shot of our water jugs on the dinner table awaiting its guests.

I used my Samsung Note 4. It was 100% auto, but Lightroom tells me it was at 1/10, F2.2, with an ISO setting of 400. Today was a sunny day, but this was taken at night.
