Day 41 saw me spending over 2 hours in traffic trying to get home. It was one of those days where it seems like a lot of people forgot how to drive and proceeded to smash into one another. It was terribly bothersome for the rest of us, who were merely trying to get home at a decent hour. But alas, I did make it home safe and sound which is all one can really ask for when venturing out into the madness of Toronto highways.
I was looking at one of our book shelves and noticed that one of my age old plants has really started to take it over. I am a little impressed with myself because I have managed to keep this guy alive for a number of years now and I rather like how long it is getting. It would be longer yet, but a few years ago there was an incident around me putting it back up on the bookshelf and it preferring to plummet to the floor, clobbering me in the face on its way.
This was a natural light shot, but since it was dark out there was a combination of colour temperatures in the room. You can see the right being a lot cooler, while the left is noticeably warmer.
This was taken on my Canon 7D with the 24-70mm F4 L lens at 5 seconds at F8 with an ISO of 100. It was an overcast day when the shot was taken, but that hardly matters seeing as it was night and indoors.
