You have no idea how tempted I am to just say “Screw it, this week is duck week!”
The only thing holding me back is that it’s Wednesday, and I don’t want to wait until next week to get this party started. The point here is that the Toronto waterfront is rife with duckery, one of the finest animals ever created. The duck cup overfloweth, and I am ready to cash this cheque in.
So here is today’s entry. A duck. Captured in a majestic and humble flight moments before trying to land on a dock without using its feet. It didn’t work out.
I captured the gorgeous bounty of nature with my 70-200mm lens zoomed to 120mm, shooting at 1/1000 of a second with an aperture of of f4.5. ISO was 400 because things were a bit cloudy, but I didn’t want to sacrifice shutter speed.
