Day 51 and I am posting an archive photo from earlier this year. Getting out today was a little difficult, but we have grand plans this weekend and intend to get out both Saturday and Sunday.
Back at the beginning of this project, Vahida and I took a drive out to farm country around Pickering there we found an old, abandoned farm and I was snapped off the shot of the old red door. At the same time I was got this shot of the peeling, wooden plank wall and I love the combination of colour and light and age that comes through. It really shows nature starting to reclaim what it once owned. At the time it was a toss up between if this would be the winner, or the red door – which ultimately won.
I used my Canon 7D Mark 1 with a Canon EF 24-70mm F4 L lens at 24mm, shooting at 1/30, F6.3, with an ISO setting of 400. It was an overcast day and light was getting short when the shot was taken.
