This winter will not end. Today was another cold one, or so I am told. I really didn’t try my luck with going outside other than venturing out to the balcony to get this shot. This Saturday, we had Dave, Sarah, Jamie and Lauren over for a rather late dinner. Dave and Sarah brought us these beautiful tulips and today they really started to bloom and open up. Even though it was cold out, I wanted to try a shot with the blue sky. I went out and took a few shots, only to change my mind and instead go for a shot of the flowers back lit by the sun. It was a pretty quick shot because I wanted to get back inside as soon as I could.
I used my Canon 7D Mark 1 with a Canon EF 24-70mm F4 L lens at 24mm, shooting at 1/200, F11, with an ISO setting of 250. It was a sunny day when the shot was taken and the sun was back lighting the flowers.
