I am writing this before I have the picture of the day picked. By the time I post it though, I would have picked it, but as of this moment, I do not. Today was one of those “Let’s try something new!” days, and since I have been wanting to try something with bubbles, I figured I would give it a go. My idea was to have a bunch of bubbles on a piece of glass assuming that they would distort and wrap the background. They didn’t – which surprised me. I thought because of their spherical nature, that the background would get all wacky when looking through them.
It was onto plan B and since I had some bubble mix made, and a dirty piece of glass(or clean since it was covered in soap – you decide), I thought I would really lather everything up and see if anything of interest happened. It was then that I noticed that once it was all bubbly, you could draw with it. I spent some time having a little fun, but I couldn’t have my hands all soaped up, and take a picture. Luckily, Vahida was home and I got her to toss on her creative hat and paint me a masterpiece – or two.
I used my Canon 7D Mark 1 with a Canon 24-70 F4 L lens at 24mm, shooting at 1/160, F7.1, with an ISO setting of 100. It was a nice sunny day today.
