I’ve always thought of Robins as one of those “generic” birds. The kind you see everywhere, and stop being noteworthy before you’re old enough to understand what a bird is.
This is just a complete assumption though, and I have absolutely no qualified evidence to back that claim up. It’s just how I’ve viewed them my entire life since they always seemed quite common around where I was.
Here is a robin.
It came in range of my 70-200mm lens, though I had to zoom all the way to 200mm. Since it was so overcast, I had to shoot at 1/100 of a second at f4 with an ISO of 1000.
