Today’s shot comes to you from….the dryer. Last night I had the bright idea that it was time to wash our couch blanket. I haven’t washed it before, so I thought it was about time. Now generally, your clothing, blankets and towels have one of those tags that tells you how to wash it. This blanket was no exception, only I cut it off ages ago, so into the washer it went just like anything else. After it was finished, Vahida took it out and noticed that it was shedding a lot of lint. She asked me “Do you think we should still dry it?” which I answered “Ya, toss it in. It’ll be fine”.
I was wrong.
Very, incredibly wrong.
This morning I took it out of the dryer and I have never seen so much lint in the lint tray. It was completely full of this beautiful, teal, fluffy lint and the blanket itself was littered with it still. I took a picture of the tray to show Vahida and she said “Take a better picture and post it for today!”.
I used my Canon 7D Mark 1 with a Canon 24-70 F4 L lens on extension tubes, shooting at 1/80, F7.1, with an ISO setting of 100. It was nice weather wise today, but snowed a bit.
