Beauty Through Age

Beauty Through Age

Seems this week is an archive week for me and I have plans to make next week a lot better in terms of getting new photos. With Sunday’s being as busy as they are for us, I was not able to get out and grab a shot. Instead I am posting one of my favourite shots from my Nakina drive home in August of 2013. As I was coming home, there was an old truck parked on top of a hill. I caught it out of the corner of my eye and had to turn around and take some pictures. From that session, there were a rather large number of shots that turned out to my liking – this being what I believe the second best and really plays into my love of rust.

This shot was taken with my Canon 7D using a 50mm lens at 1/2000 of a second, F2.8 and an ISO of 100. The drive home was filled with a lot of beautiful sunshine.
