I’ve got a lot to organize and edit after today’s walk, so I’m going to just dump some cloud in here.
I went to a cottage in the summer with a friend of mine throughout most of high school. I recall how each year I went, I was fascinated by a different thing. First year was water, then clouds, then rocks. During the cloud year, every time we were on the road I would take pictures of the clouds. I liked it most when the sun was behind them.
That’s something I definitely tired of and stopped doing, but as I walked along the waterfront this morning, I noticed the sunrise painting a really neat rimlight around some of the clouds and steam from the pulp mill, so I grabbed a shot of it and reminisced of those high school summers with a 2 megapixel point and shoot.
I took this with my 150-600mm lens, shooting at 1/640 and f9 with an ISO of 100
