On my first night in Vancouver I decided to wander around a little bit on a search for pictures. Turns out my hotel was right beside the library! I looked out my window and saw this sign, so I decided to go grab a picture of it at ground level.
This was shot with my 24-70mm lens, using a 1/25 second exposure at f2.8 and ISO 2500. It was super dark, which is why even at that aperture and sensitivity I had to go as slow as 1/25. Luckily the wider the angle the less pronounced any shaking will be. I sat down against a bench to have something to brace against for additional stability.
