Go to Goderich, it is incredibly beautiful. Today Vahida and I went on a road trip to the little town. I have been wanting to go for a little while, and with it being a long weekend it worked out that we would jump in the car for the drive. Getting to Goderich was fairly uneventful, but the landscape was gorgeous going from the wooded areas around Halton Hills into the farm country of Stratford. Once we arrived we headed straight for the beach to see the water and what the sites were and we were both really impressed with how beautiful it all was.
The town itself is about 30 feet above sea level, with some bluffs heading down to the water. The view from up top is worth the trip alone. The beach front runs for over a kilometer and is really well kept. There is a wooden walkway that extends for most of the beachfront with a much needed washroom at the end. If you go on a sunny day, bring water.
