One of the things that I do for work is demonstrations for the services that we offer. I am a marketing consultant by title, and my focus is to help companies market themselves better using technology – primarily software called Microsoft Dynamics CRM with some extra bells and whistles. For the demonstrations that I help do, I came to the realization that a website would be handy since websites are a main marketing tool for companies. Last week that path lead me to getting some web hosting, a domain name and then waiting for things to get setup so that I can start searching my brain for some skill to actually make a website.
With everything setup for the hosting, today was the day I set aside to start on the website itself and after getting WordPress installed and configured, getting a template that I like, putting together a logo, and doing some site styling, it was time to get something a little more visual going on and I had the bright idea that I would take a picture that I can use as the main banner on the site. This is what I came up with.
This was taken with my Canon 7D with the 24-70mm F4 lens at 24mm, shooting at 3.2 seconds, F16 and an ISO of 100. Today was a pretty nice day, but there is still a little chill in the air.
