Vancouver is a busy place for both land and sea. There is such an abundance of ships trying to get in and out that some need to actually anchor down outside of the city to wait their turn. And there are so many anchored down outside of the city that some need to actually anchor down near Vancouver island to wait until they can anchor down outside the city!
One such boat was in view from the Nanaimo waterfront, just peeking between Newcastle Island and Protection Island.
I took this with my 150-600mm lens, shooting at 1/1250 and f7.1 with an ISO of 500.
