I am always surprised to find different walking trails in Toronto. It is a funny city because if you never venture around, you can go without knowing that these trails exist, but if you take a little time and have a nice walk, you will often come across some beautiful green trails. For a northern boy, finding some green space is nice, but finding what feels like the woods is calming. It might be subconscious, but when you are in these areas it even seems like the air is fresher and you are escaping the metropolitan heart. One of my favourite activities in the summer is going to these nature trails and just walking and spending some time.
I took this with my Canon 7D and the Sigma 80-400mm lens shooting at F7.1, and ISO 500. This was an “HDR” shot and a combination of three pictures. Today was said to rain, but it turned out to be a really beautiful and hot day.
