Today, I was reminded of a time many years back when I was in a Pho restaurant with my friends and we all decided to eat a Thai chili pepper. This ended with one of them running down the street for a giant bottle of Gatorade and another half dying outside as he stood, keeled over wishing life had brought him down a different path.
This is a Thai Chili pepper that Vahida and I grew on our balcony garden. That last week it has really started to sprout peppers, and today I decided to harvest one to give it a try. We went over to Mom and Dad Badat’s, where we started to have dinner and then cut this little guy open. No one else would dare take a piece, but Vahida and I with, curiosity in our hearts, each tossed a small chunk into our mouths for a taste.
It was hell.
I took this with my Samsung Note 4 shooting at 1/25 of a second, F2.2 and ISO 200. Today was a pretty nice day, with a small chill to the air.
