Upon stumbling out of a Toronto Thai restaurant, I noticed this red building was really standing out against the blue sky, thanks to the setting sun making the environment much more saturated. I liked the colour contrast, and brought out my phone to grab the shot when I noticed a streetcar coming down the road.
I didn’t have much time to prepare, and the streetcar wasn’t looking to slow down, so I set up what I could and waited for it to enter the frame.
This was taken with my Lumia 1020 phone, which has a focal length of 25mm and aperture of f2.2. I shot at 1/800 and ISO 100.
