Eid Mubarak! Today marks the end of Ramadan which means that things go back to normal for Muslims around the world. It is a bittersweet day since it marks the end of a very holy month, but also the ability to get back into the standard day to day routines. Eid Al Fitr is the day after the end of the month of Ramadan in the Islamic calendar and it s day of great celebration with family, friends and loved ones. Think Christmas, since for kids it is also a day of gifts – which is what this picture is all about. Technically, a new day starts at sunset so Eid has officially started and will go until tomorrow evening. It will be a big day which means we need to get to bed.
I took this with my phone shooting at 1/17 of a second, F2.2 and ISO 320. Today was a rainy/chill day, but I liked it.
