The moon is awesome tonight and it needed a picture of it taken. I tried to get one as it was coming out of the clouds, but in my haste, I forgot that the clouds and the moon would be very different in terms of light and I would need to tripod something. Instead, here is a straight up moon because the moon is pretty. This was an HDR and I am not sure it did much over the 1/8 shutter shot, but it does seem to have a little, wee bit more detail that came through. I don’t think the 1/4 shot did much of anything.
Canon 7D, Sigma, 80-400mm, 1/15, 1/4, 1/8 of a second, F22, ISO 100. Today was a beautiful day.
