Another welcome addition to the collection of animals giving me dirty looks. While hikers sauntered by without so much as a glance, I stood around watching three deer I spotted lounging around in the woods. Perhaps nobody else noticed, or perhaps they didn’t care, but I’m still at a stage where I consider seeing deer on the outskirts of a suburb in a metropolis as something exciting.
I guess it was a similar situation on the deer side of things, because two of them didn’t give me a second glance, while the third was eyeballing me thoroughly. I was able to get a shot timed nicely to have it give off a bit of a “ehhhh whaddaya want, chump?” vibe.
I took this with my 70-200mm lens, shooting at 1/100 and f5 with an ISO of 220.
