We finally made it to Quebec city today at around 6:30 pm after coming into some traffic while driving through Montreal. With a few hours left in the evening, we decided we would take a stroll in Old Quebec City to see what it was like. We knew there was a lot of landmarks to see in the city, including this extremely expensive hotel (and historic site) known as Le Château Frontenac.
We heard great things about the city, but even still, it caught us both by surprise. There was some sort of festival going on and the streets were alive well into the night. It is a city that we will have to come back to visit when we have the time.
Canon 7D, 1/40 of a second, F6.3, ISO 200. It was a beautiful day, but we definitely felt the strong winds coming off of the St. Lawrence river as we walked on the boardwalk.
