Waking up today, we were pretty excited to get out of the dive motel we landed at and get on the road to Montreal. It was going to be about a 7.5 hour drive, and that meant we would get here when there was still light out and we could go see some sights. Tonight’s plan was Old Montreal, because if you only have a little bit of time, that is where you have to go and the sights you have to see.
Getting there, we were happy to see that it was rather beautiful. There were a lot of little shops, restaurants and street performers. One guy made Vahida cringe with his act which was essentially him standing on top of a sword – the sharp edge. At first it didn’t seem like there was a lot of people out and about, but once we got into the heart of it we saw that there was a good deal of people and some events going on – such as the international reggae festival.
It was a little later in the day though when we got here, so I was not able to get a ton of shots. I got a few, but this is the one we will go with for today.
Canon 7D, 50mm lens, 1/125 of a second, F1.8, ISO 200. Today was a hot one for the being in the car.
