Today was a beautiful day for a walk, and that is exactly what Vahida and I did.
When we got up today, we knew that we wanted to spend some time outside. We debated for a bit what we wanted to do, and finally came to the conclusion that we would take a walk down by the waterfront. There was a Hot and Spicy event that we heard about, so we thought we would head down there, see what that was all about and then venture west along the water until we were semi exhausted. From there, we could grab a street car/subway home.
All in all, things worked out pretty well, and according to plan. The only issue was that the Hot and Spicy event was not as grand as we imagined, and was pretty much just all different hot sauce vendors. We imagined different foods and that we could go there for some lunch, but it didn’t work out that way in the end. Either way, we had a great walk, got some good exercise, and breathed in some ice fresh air – with a side of chafing.
