Fresh Bread

Fresh Bread

All to often the problem with baking your own bread is that you end up eating it pretty quickly – especially when it is warm from the oven. Because yesterday I had plans to take a bread picture and the fact that we ate more than half a loaf, I thought we would make another loaf today. This loaf I was able to take some time with to get a shot. Once I got it into Lightroom, I realized that I should have had the loaf over to the right a little more, but hey, live a learn.

Canon 7D, 50mm lens, 1.6 of a second, F16 and ISO 100. Today was another cold and wet day.

  1. I like the background in this shot. It makes me feel like I’m living way up in a high-rise, yet I’m connected to the “earthiness” of bread made from plants below.
