Vahida is out with some of her girl friends tonight, which meant that I had some time to play around a little bit. I didn’t know what to take a shot of until I saw some of the apples we still have from the farm. That lead me to believe I wanted to take a shot of an apple, but I didn’t have one pretty enough. Luckily, the grocery store is around the corner so I ran out there and found a few pretty ones. From here, it came down to some basic lighting, but I found that the shot wasn’t all that interesting. To spice it up, I pulled out that old spray bottle and gave the apple a good spray down. In hindsight, if I had a water/sugar mix it would have worked better since the apple is a little to smooth for droplets to stick to. Either way, I am a big fan of how it came out.
Canon 7D, 1/50 of a second, F22 and ISO 100. Today was a good sign that winter is coming.
