I consider this to be a monumental accomplishment simply by being on Bay Street in Toronto just after 5PM, and getting a photo without any people in it.
When I looked at this structure, there wasn’t anything immediately appealing about it, however after further review, I realized there is actually a lot going on here by way of pattern and texture. From the outer walls to the door to the glass above the door to the inner wall to the beams below the “Service Entrance” sign (which has its own nice gloss to it as well).
I didn’t take this with the intent of it being a picture to post, however I genuinely like the look of it, so here we are.
I took this with my 50mm lens, shooting at 1/100 and f2.2, with an ISO of 400.
