Homeless man at Pier 29

Not all sunshine and lollypops

I saw this guy sleeping by the massive door to Pier 29, and the sense of scale was interesting to me. I wasn’t sure if the massive door was imposing, or gave off a feeling of comfort. Either way, I wanted to get the “big picture”, so I went across the street to fit everything in frame. The man had woken up by this point, but I felt the impact was the same.

I took this with my 24-70mm lens, shooting at 1/125 and f5, with an ISO of 500.
