Bubbles

Bubbas

After washing dishes this morning, I noticed the reflection of our currently yellow tree on the blue sky in a black bowl. I liked how it looked and tried to position it to reflect as much of the scene as possible, and then take a shot of it. Things didn’t translate as well into camera, though, but in the process I noticed a similar kind of thing happening with the soap bubbles in the sink. After getting the tripod and playing around a bit, I got the focus I was after.

Fun side note, the tower looking thing in the right square’s reflection is our dish washing brush.

I took this with my 90mm macro lens, shooting at 1/5 of a second and f13, with an ISO of 200.
