Artistic flair, creative composition, and dramatic storytelling will always be tossed aside for one thing: A big bird pooping. Of the few codes I live by, this one certainly isn’t my proudest, but it is one I will always enforce. Not much further explanation needed here, I suppose. It was a rainy overcast day, I went for a stroll in Hamilton with some friends, the stroll quickly devolved into me looking at birds, I eyed some cormorants lounging on a rock, and the rest is history.
I took this with my 70-200mm lens, shooting at an action-halting 1/400 of a second at f4, and ISO 400.
