Colourful trees

All the colours of a traffic light

While I didn’t manage to get any real dramatic composition or catching design, I was in the right place at the right time to capture a wonderful mix of colours. All from the same type of tree, no less.  It’s a pretty narrow window that we have to get such a mix all in one spot. I’m fortunate that such wonderful locations are in extremely close proximity to this city.

The changing phase of fall is almost over. Get out there and enjoy what’s left!

I took this with my 24-70mm lens, shooting at 1/250 and f6.3, with an ISO of 200.

  1. Nice — where was this? Sherwood Forest Park was my favourite in the fall. It had an incredible pink tree, right beside the creek on the east side where we took our family photo … hey … wait a minute … suddenly I remember some kid with his eyes purposely closed in 35 out of 36 shots — on film no less, requiring a week’s wait and paying processing costs. (But I still luv ya.)
