I am not sure if it is just me, but I cannot listen to Tom Petty’s Free Fallin’ and not think of the alternative words to this song. Years of high school childish giggles are ingrained into me now. And yes, I still get a chuckle. For those who don’t know what is going on here, we are listening to 80’s hits as I type this post.
Now those who don’t know, I am allergic to dairy. This means milk, butter, yogurt, and just anything made from something that has been milked. This put chocolate into that mix, and that is a little sad because I kinda like chocolate. The one good thing that I found out a few years ago is that dark chocolate is “safe”. Now don’t be fooled though, not all labeled dark chocolate is safe, and I need the stuff that is 70% or higher. I have two favorite types of chocolate – mint and rice crisp. The issue with both of these is that a milk free, dark chocolate versions only exist around Christmas time. Purdy’s makes the rice crisps and some random Shoppers Drugmart British brand makes the mint.
Tonight, my gorgeous wife made a little stop at Purdy’s on her way home and found out that they have their Christmas rice crisp dark chocolate out. Because she is amazing, she bought me some!
Wife is awesome.
Canon 7D, 1/200 of a second, F11, ISO 100. Today was gorgeous and I hope everyone got outside for a spell.
