This view represents one of the perks of living in the suburbs. Drive north for ten minutes, and this is what you have. I feel like driving north from where I lived in Toronto for an hour would still probably have my in Toronto, due to traffic. But even on a fast moving day, where the city ends another city begins, so there’s not really much in the way of a break from things.
I’m happy to have this luxury, and I’m glad I’ve been making use of it this year. I feel like I’ve seen and appreciated more of the Burlington area from May to now than I did the entire 14 years I spent growing up here. I understand that my priorities were different back then, and don’t hold it against past-Jamie. I’m just glad I’ve changed.
This is a stitch of four shots taken with my 24-70mm lens, shooting at 1/640 and f8, with an ISO of 200.
