A Passage of Time

A Passage of Time

Time is quickly disappearing for this old photo year, and for today I wanted to play around a little bit with books and pages. It might be seen as ironic, but I do love books, I just don’t particularly love to read them. This one in particular though, I did read, and the thing that I find also a little ironic is that it is a fairly new book, but I was able to make it look old. This is partly due to the way it was printed with rough cut paper edges, and also the gloomy lighting. I had some flashes in at first for this shot, but then realized that I like it better with just the lighting we have in the dining/living room. I found it gave it a nicer glow and things had a warmer feel.

Canon 7D, 1.6 seconds, F11 and ISO 100. Today was oddly nice out. Almost to nice.
