Male House Sparrow

Ball of bird

Hoo-wee, it’s a chilly one out there. I figured I’d post a shot of what I now consider to be the oft neglected House Sparrow. That bird that is always there. The bird that when you hear a bit nearby, it’s probably one of these. The most common and generic bird, it seems. And due to that, I often ignore them.

Well, I figured they earned some time in the spotlight, especially with how fluffed up this one was.

Taken with my 150-600mm lens, shooting at 1/400 and f8 with an ISO of 1000.
